How to replace rubber tracks
Another Rubber tracks series dangerous sign is a worn sprocket, noticed when the sprocket starts to run over the lugs. Worn sprockets become pointy like fish hooks and can tear the drive lugs and damage your rubber tracks. It's always a good idea to check the track tension, as too little tension can cause the track to jump off the landing gear, while too much tension can cause loss of power, tearing of the rubber track, and excessive wear on the rollers and idler bearings. The last sign of dangerous wear is an unsafe tread level. When you notice that the raised portion of the rubber track tread is no longer visible or flattened, it's a clear sign that you need to replace the rubber track. An unsafe tread depth can result in loss of traction and stability.
